No, PARAS’10 is a civilian charity event run by the team at SUPPORT OUR PARAS to raise money. We are grateful to be supported by the military and volunteers, but this is ultimately a civilian run event.
Please be advised that there are no military admin instructions or joining instructions available for this event.
Yes. Everyone enters the race as an individual competitor, with the option of forming a team.
For Catterick, you will need four people from the same category to form a team. All four times will count towards the team prize.
We currently do not offer a team option for the ROMAN RAMPAGE.
Entrants must be aged 16 or over to take part.
Your race number and timing chip will be issued at registration on race day. You will receive final information regarding the race via email a week prior to the event.
Be advised that timing chips must be attached to your laces using the ties provided, so they can be easily cut off at the finish line.
Refunds are not granted for this race. You can, however, transfer your entry to another runner/tabber before online entries close. You will need to complete a transfer form, which is available from Sport Systems at enquiries@sportsystems.co.uk
No runner/tabber should wear a race number belonging to another entrant as this could incur grave consequences in the event of a medical emergency. Any entrant found to be running/tabbing under a different name may be penalised.
We urge you to support the SUPPORT OUR PARAS charity as they provide the support our soldiers, veterans and families deserve. However, you are free to support your own charity if you wish, but please do not collect sponsorship within the start/finish area.
The PARAS’10 is an extremely tough physical event which should not be undertaken lightly. Both races require focussed training and preparation. The following training programmes have been prepared by P Company’s own Physical Training Instructor, tailored to the specific demands of each event.

No, as you will need this to train with in the run up to the event. All TAB entrants are to bring their own rucksack, packed with 35lbs of equipment (excluding food & water), which will be weighed both at the start and finish by race officials.
From race rules perspective, bergen size & shape is irrelevant, but weight must be 35lbs. Weight can be made up of anything, though we recommend it being wrapped in something soft like a sleeping bag. Comfort is something that you won’t be able to achieve, but padded shoulder straps and a lumbar support are your best bets to try and achieve it.
